• Not only do we practice catch and release trout fishing, but we were instrumental in helping push the law through to make it mandatory.  We strongly believe it is the right thing to do.  The Chilko area is one of the most beautiful spots in nature for Canada trout fishing. Our trout are beautiful and at Tsylos, we do our part to help keep it that way. Tsylos is proud to be a luxury fishing lodge which boasts an abundance of trout. Catch and release policies assure our guests will be able to enjoy the thrill of pulling in trophy rainbow trout for years to come. The thrill of the catch and a photograph will ensure the memories last a lifetime. 
• The Chilko River is fly fishing only and regulations state you can only use single barb-less hooks.
